PTO must be on for hydraulics to work.

Welcome to the forum.
First of all, It's NOT Alice. It's ALLIS! Shouldn't be a problem getting a new water pump. Readily available aftermarket. Some of the vendors on this site can help as well. Good luck with it! |

It's easier just to replace the pump rather than rebuild it. Good opportunity to clean and flush out the rad while you have it off as well.

Water pump = replace.
Hydro pump = rebuild. Check all mechanical controls and linkages going to the pump. You may want to loosen a hose going to lift cylinders to see if you have pressure out of the pump.

It is alot harder to get it off than to rebuild. Unless the rollers are worn out, there is very little expence in rebuilding one. MACK
