Loaned AC HD6B to a neighbor to plow out drive in December. Used it for two weeks and ran out of oil. Black cloud out of exhaust and engine seized. Cannot turn over by hand. Crawler is in great shape otherwise.  Question: Should I sell it for scrap or try to repair/find a new engine?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum, sorry your first posts are from such a difficult situation.

If I may be so bold, I would suggest that neighbor owes you the repair bill.

You can fix it, probably a crankshaft and a master overhaul set.  Lots of machine work to get the block in top shape.  Very doable, cost if the newer 344, best guess around 2-3K IF you do all but the machine work.

Personally if I owned it, I would fix it, but then I am always wrenching on something Orange.
