guess it's a sign of the times...neighbour went to buy 8 new plugs for his 86 Monte Carlo. Kid at NAPA hands him 1 made in Mexico and 7 Made in China !! That was bad enough BUT they were NOT all the same, even though part numbers were !! He said, 'sorry no sale', shook his head and walked out. I can't believe Mexico outsourced making plugs to China.. Must be a 'free trade - NAFTA' thing. |

I'm still upset over the things they call light bulbs now. You are fortunate to get them screwed into the socket without breaking the filament and that is if they work when you take em out of the package.

Just bought some new plugs for my cycle - the dang Champion numbers now on boxes don't match the old plug numbers or follow the heat range - then looked for AC plugs - nope none - in fact where I use to buy plugs now doesn't handle any of the heat ranges or brands I use . Seems a AC 45 or a Champion N 5C or N 7C should be something easy to find

Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? You stop drinking and get off the carousel.

Anything that uses those older plugs has been out of production for decades. The demand for them goes down every year.
