Are you trying to change the tie rod ends or the drag link ends. Tie rod ends a pickle fork and big hammer. Just buy new tie rods there always so rusted together usually you destroy them. Drag links need to be replaced as a unit there are no replacment ends.

You can buy weld on tie rod ends. As long as you find the right ones, you can cut and weld new ones on the drag link. Tie rod fork/pickle fork will separate them.

In a pinch without a pickle fork you can turn the nut around and put it on flush with the end of the stud and hit it with a 10 pound hammer. If the nut is flush with the stud so you hit both at the same time it will not damage the threads. The front you can turn to have the end forward. At the steering box you would have to put a sledge or a heavy piece of steel on the nut and hit the steering arm. A pickle fork is best if you have one.
