My AC7GB hydraulic pump for the bucket and rippers has a vent fitting.  This hole constantly leaks fluid.  I even attached  an extension of 3 feet to this fitting. It pushed fluid up to the top of the extension which was above the hydraulic tank by about a foot.  The amount of fulid that comes out is about a pint a day even when the machine is not running.  I can not understand why the fluid keeps comming out when the machine is not running.  The bucket has plenty of power so there does not seem to be a problem with the pump power.  Is there suposed to be a releif valve at this vent ?  Any help will be appericated.  Thank you.   Larry

some hydraulic pumps have a return fitting to the tank for leakage inside the pump. it may be to tell you there is internal leakage. you coould just pipe it to the tank and forget about it.
