A prime example of how to kill your starter and put excessive wear and tear on your engine! Use the manifold heater for a minute and she will start very easy in 30 degree temperatures. Less than that, plug it in.

If it's even a little bit cold I plug mine in. If it's plugged in it starts at -20F like it does in the summer. No need to fight it.

What I watched was in slow motion so maybe it wasn't as painful as it seemed.

Here's my cold start (w/manifold heater) of the 200 in normal time and no I don't
usually start it this way even at 27˚F but just because I could and
because it is mine I did.

I have no idea if it's turned up. I've only owned it for a couple years. Had high side Power Director redone soon after I got it. Needs the lift cylinders sealed and the hydraulic valves too due to external leaks. The 3-point also drifts down fairly quick so another reason for resealing things up. Now I feel like I've hijacked the original post. Sorry Yunggun. Edited by Lonn - 08 Dec 2018 at 6:07pm |

From the factory, yes. With the safety switch jumped out, no. Mine has a jumper wire in it. |
