Just bought a 6060 with cab and has MFWD. Rear tires are down to 30% and are on 28 inch rims. They look very undersized for the tractor. Does anyone know if I could put 34 inch rims on and if so, where I might locate? I am in MN.
Thanks.

If you change the back you must change the front.  Check owners manual for correct sizes.

I just realized that. Do they make a higher profile tire in the 28" size? Not sure if that would mess with the front/rear ratio. I don't want to buy a new tranny.

Mine came with 18.4 x 28.  Ordered it that way because that is what the 180 it replaced had. It was a very bad choice.  I have put radial 16.9 x 34 on it and they made a much better puller out of it.  Still far too light to do any real pulling of implements but know it does not get stuck on wet grass with the baler and two loaded wagons on behind.  I considered 15.5 x 38 but found they had almost exactly the same rolling circumference as the 16.9 x 34 and I was able to find the 34" rims when doing so.

Amos-
Did you change the front tire size to accomodate the larger rears? I am afraid it may be hard on the tranny to mess with the ratio. Someone told me that I would have to switch to 28" on the front if I go with bigger tires in back.

This is the one on Tractorhouse. Made an offer of $12K; he countered with $12 1/2 and I went with it. The interior didn't have a scratch in it, the body is completely straight, no leaks and ran like a top. Talked to the previous owner who said he just used it to pull a manure spreader and needed something bigger. He went with a 110 HP Kubota.

Mine is 2 wd.  I have never seen a fwa 6060 with the small rear tires on it.  Most that I saw had 15.5 x 38 and a few with 18.4 x 38.
