Under the slanted cowl that covers the electrical switches and what not just above and ahead of the steering column on top of the hood.

If you need to get in there to do a repair do yourself a favor and unhook the batteries. One wrong move with a metal wrench or screwdriver and you can melt your wiring harness in a flash. Yeah, don’t ask me how I know that. What disaster...
