Posted recently about having issues with not getting the psi back to the hydraulics. Took hydraulic pump off and found that one stage was destroyed. Bought a new pump and installed and still having trouble. So now I’m starting at the relief valve and took apart and found some metal in it. Cleaned and reinstalled. So now I’m figuring the rest of the control valves need the same attention so I’m going to tear into them and see if they have any shaving in them. So I guess the question is am I heading in the right direction? I’m thinking that something is jammed up in one of the control valves and dumping the fluid back into the sump. Any advice is much appreciated.

There are two relief valves in the stack. Could be you took the one apart for traction booster. How did you readjust the relief valve when it was reinstalled. Did you clean hydraulic sump, change oil and filter before new pump? MACK

Little update on hydraulic problem. Drained oil and checked the screen. All good on the screen. Checked inlet valve on the stack and looked good so far. Going to check the outlet and see if there is a problem there. Working on hooking up a pressure gauge to see what pressure is there. Took apart one of the ram sections and found one of the springs missing. So working on finding a spring.
