AC 170 leaking hydraulic fluid from pump

I have a AC 170 with a front end loader we use at my parents farm. The other day I noticed the hydraulic fluid was low so I topped her off. Afterwards while moving some silage with the front end loader I noticed that when trying to lift the bucket, fluid is shooting out of the pump. This only occurs however when you are trying to lift more than the hydraulics can handle apparently. For example driving into the silage pile and trying to scoop and it's packed together and you try to lift while your bucket is still at the bottom of the pile.  
It also shoots fluid out of the bottom of the pump if the 3 point hitch arms all the way up and you pull the lever like you want to raise them more (although abviously you can't because they are all the way up).

It does not shoot fluid out when just raising/lowering the bucket even with weight or no weight in it. Also, there is a little nipple looking thing on the bottom of the  hydraulic cylinder for the left rear three point hitch arm that fluid is dripping out of steadily while the tractor is running. Drips even when no load is on the hitch.

So any ideas what might be the problem?

	Sounds like the relief valve has been tampered with and raised too high or it has become stuck not allowing it to work. This will soon destroy the pump if it hasn't already.

	Is the relief valve in the pump or is it somewhere else? I have the repair manual for the tractor and it shows the exploded views of the pump and the relief valve but it does not show or tell how to get them out of/off the tractor. My tractor serial must be under 7500 because the pump is on the right side of the tractor just forward of the operator platform. Fortunately I think I caught it early enough to prevent any serious damage as the tractor is not used daily and just started doing this when I noticed it. 	Pump needs to be removed, disassembled and resealed at a minimum. There also could be a crack in a section plate. Check pressures with a 3000 psi gauge plugged into a remote outlet and stall the pump...2400 psi max at full throttle. I doubt if that's the problem...relief valves don't change by themselves. Leaking hydraulic lift 3pt cylinder needs to be resealed.

	Relief valve is in valve stack behind the levers and to your right setting on the seat. MACK

	Thanks for the replies so far guys. The tractor doesn't have to be split to remove the pump does it? It's right on the side and looks like there is easy access to it.

	The tractor does not have to be split to pull the pump. The early 170s were like the d17IVs and if you take out four bolts you can pull the pump off. When you do watch out for the shims.

	Take the 2 bolts out that hold the pump to mounting plate. There are no shims at this place. MACK
