Okay so my neighbor came over and we went through the wiring and got it running finally after 8 years. But now we put the rig in gear and it wont move. Forward or backwards. My neighbor thinks the clutch is worn out. I believe it something hydraulic. Because when my dad was still around. He said when it would stop moving under load. They would put fluid in the transmission and it would move again. I'm at a loss right now.

My HD16 is 24bolt and was a wiring mess. Brittle wires, breaks everywhere and years of hacks and splices.
I bought spools of 10gauge wire in proper color for the big circuits and 12 gauge for lights, switches and accessories. Replaced one line at a time and when done put them in a loom for protection.

Turned out great. Cleaned up a lot of problems and future problems.

Good luck.
