Getting e 0 1  code,  doesn't pull in factor 3 gears (6, 9, 15, 18 etc.). Changed cylinoid but doesn't help. Any and all help/suggestions would be appreciated.

I HAVE A 9655 that did almost the same thing. Found out that the problem was the electric plug in in the cab to the out side of the cab had bad connection (corrosion). Two cables in, two cables out. Not sure which cable handles trans. opperations, but if you can unplug and replug this may show if this is the problem. On my 9655 they are located on lower left corner of cab, not real easy to get too! FrankMI.

Check the ground on left side inside cab door on trans housing. Take the bolt out clean every thing good, and use antiseze or something to keep it from rusting  or a good conducter.   MACK

Thought that we would end up looking to the firewall plug.  We have already made a jump wire for that plug which we use when the key will not roll the motor over.

We love the 9690!!  Also have an JD 8330 and when it comes to doing the grunt work we use the orange one.  It will out pull the JD in all conditions (especially wet) and do it more efficiently too!!  Thats why we need to keep the 9690 going.  Thanks!!!

Ran all the tests we could before asking for a service call.  Card Bros. out of MI is a great resource.  They came out and replaced the computer which controls the transmission and we are back up and running.  Now if it just stopped raining long enough to get harvest and fall work done!!  Thanks guys!!
