Great picture. The old wooden elevator in my little old home town had a 100 HP AC motor in the lower level. With belts it ran the whole elevator. However the train tracks had been pulled in 1949. I saw it in 1961 or 62 when we were snooping around on Halloween afternoon. I noticed it because dad had AC tractors and at the time, I had no idea AC made electrical stuff. The elevator was torn down in the early 1970's. I always wondered what happened to the motor.

hmm... 900HP...
needs 2700 Volts and 300 Amps to spin it...yeesh that'd spin the old meter round FAST !!!
has 4" shaft. add x2 pulleys you get 540 RPM..hmm PTO speed...
make a GREAT start to an E-tractor

OK, I'll leave...go fight with the B&S mess...
supposed to me nice here, be safe guys !!

Before I looked at the picture I figured it would be larger than it appears to be.  Take quite an extension cord to run it.

I think its confusing setting on the pallet. EVeryone is picturing a pallet with  2 x 4  runners and 1 x  3 floor..... I would guess these are 6 x 6 runners with rough cut 2 x 6 floor... Its probably over 5 ft square .... That motor is probably over 6000 pounds.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

the part I like is that it will be clean and have a nice shiny coat of paint when you get it, but no guarantee it will run, in fact it is recommended it be refurbished with new bearings, etc......put what shiny paint, it sure looks purty with that shiny paint
