82T sickle sections

I just recently bought a 82T sickle mower...I would like to put all new sections on it so they all match new and would like to put overserrated sections on it.  I see a lot of people suggesting the underserrated sections...just wondering what the advantages of these are compared to smooth and overserrated.  I would also like to go with bolted sections instead of rivets.  Can anybody suggest part numbers of sections and bolts that have worked for you in the past?  Thanks in advance.

SCH sickle parts fit on allis mowers and haybines. My cousin bought parts at AGCO and bolted the drive heads on and has been mowing ever since

I bought all of mine from our local Farm and Home store. I have seen them at TSC stores too. Herschal MFG in Indianola Iowa makes them. Be sure to get the Chromed sections. They are a lot tougher than the black mild steel sections. Mine are top serrated. You will needle taller hold down clips for the sickle in order to clear the bolts. I converted mine to bolt ons.   It iscthe only way to go

Make sure you put the nut and bolt in the correct direction.  I did an entire No. 3 bar before I discovered that I had put them in wrong.   They are a bugger getting back apart.  I am glad I was taught how to take the rivets out.

I 2nd Webb's and  I still use the rivets think they hold the sections tighter and i use bolts to replace a broken out section but put the nut on from underneath.Do not like the
tall hold downs as they will make it easier to clog up in short hay.
