Not saying that I know for sure, but I think a company called Fluid Damper is who made the original one. Maybe they still exist ??

My original was not a Fluid Damper brand and niether was it's AGCO replacement. They do list one for Allis which was used on a 4-71 detroit but I think the demensions were the same. Not listed specially for 670

Gary, if Don doesn't want it, I'd sure consider it for my puller. I'd like to switch from the stock 210 damper to the viscous damper. 4-71 detroit huh? I'll look in interstate mcbee for them too then.

My original 1985 8070 viscous damper has Stahl INC. Memphis TN stamped on it. Could find no such thing on i-net. The replacement came form WA state AGCO dealer and has something else on it. (on tractor not on the place)

Found a Stahl damper for an 855 Cummins on e-bay but that is all. Looks like they are out of business maybe. Also found what looked like a website but would not open. Think the date was 1997 or so.
