I cant help you either, but I will be following this. I was hoping to pick up another powershift for cultivating. Had good luck with an 8070

I would pull valve body off and check for stuck plungers. Usually caused by something coming apart. Might get lucky. MACK

If you are lucky, don't start the engine just yet. Shift the lever from Reverse to 6th and back again, SEVERAL TIMES. Then, start the engine and see if it fixed itself. I've had this work a couple of times when a piece of debris got jammed in the valve plunger and with the valve cooled down overnite, was able to get things working again by this method.

You now remove the power shift valve (behind the batteries)and make sure there aren't any stuck plungers or linkage/rack problems. No problem in the valve means the transmission has a problem internally.
