I need to cut off and replace the wheel end of the steering cylinder. I believe it has been replaced before with a swedged ball end. The cylinder needs rebuilt and I have the kit but I want to replace the end first. Does anyone here know where I can get one with the correct size hole. The one that is on there is to sloppy to leave on. Any suggestions would be great thanks.

Thanks Denny let me know what you find yours may be better to rebuild than mine. The one I have has had the original end replaced. I have repaired my other 8000s with ACGO parts but this one is different.

There was a change made in later serial numbers to a different attachment to the knuckle. My 8070 is a
Little wallowed. I replaced the ball and put a piece of nylon under to keep it from dropping down. When I get a chance I will turn a bushing and bore the cylinder mount out. Then press and weld it back in.
