I want to replace the 20.8 R38 rear tires with 18.4’s. Right now it has 14.9 R28’s on the front. Will these match up better with R38’s or R42’s?

Tim, I think you will want 18.4 R42 with 14.9 R28 on the front.   18.4 38 went with 13.6x28 on the front.

18.4x42 will make the tractor sit more level and not look like it's always going uphill

If you are setting up for 30 inch rows and want to turn shorter go with the 13.6 x 28 on the front. I did this with my 8030 to fit better in the rows and turn shorter.
