Hello
When someone says the equipment has large 1000 splin.
What does the 8050 have for 1000 pto.
Sorry I don’t have experience with them. Everything Iv done is 540.

8050 has the 1-3/8" shaft.

7080, 7580, 8550, 8070, 4W220, and the 4W305 all had the large 1000. IF, if your tractor has the two speed, reversible PTO, then you will have the small 1000 PTO.

Others will know better than me, but did some of the 7060’s have the large 1000PTO only?

It depends a little on what decade we are talking about, but the SAE group decided that anything over 165 pto HP must have the larger 1 3/4" spline PTO shaft.  Same goes for the 540 to 1000 switch. Seems as tho in the 1960's , 1000 RPM was required on anything over 100 pto HP.  But, Farmall kept a dual 540/1000 set-up all the way thru the 80's on most of their larger models.
