A couple of years ago I bought a used 720 Allis Chalmers garden tractor. The guy I bought it from had replaced the Onan engine with an after market engine, and included original Onan engine in the sale. I don't know why he replaced the Onan, it's not setup, and appears to be all there.

I have a neighbor that collects and restores garden. He would like to buy the Onan from me. So my question is how much is the Onan worth? It appears to be all there.

Thanks,
Dusty

Well, lets see... its loose, its complete but you never heard it run, so not sure about smoke, knocks, or internal problems. I would think $350.-$375. would be a fair price to fetch for it. A lot of the good parts, such as Carburetor, linkage, ignition parts, Starter (if still there) flywheel, stator are all good sellable parts. Just my own opinion of coarse.....
