I have 2 7080s im fixing up one is a maroon belly and the other is a black belly both are very straight but tires are only about 30%. The black belly has all the options. Both have duals. Im planning to sell them both once i have everything working including the A/C. I was wondering what they would be worth with and without being painted. Also what paints would you use and where is the best place to buy cab kits.

Do you have any pics of them ? Would be hard to get back the money you put in them depending on what you need to do..

if the paint is in any shape at all, its best to leave it and just wax it.
The term "jockey trash" applies to a freshly painted tractor at an auction. |

I understand being concerned about fresh paint. I bought these tractors from a very honest guy. One pushes antifreeze out of the top of the radiator and the other tractors transmission slips under a heavy load he told me before I bought them. I bought them pretty cheap. I was planning to sell them outright and just tell the buyer the whole story. I've got a couple neighbors showing some interest already.

What would you take for the Blackbelly ? Is it the one with the motor trouble or the transmission ?

The black belly is the one with motor trouble. The head is being professionally resurfaced at the moment
