It has been raining off and on today, not getting much done so I decided to make a trip to the tractor salvage yard.  Picked up a set of firestone 18.4x16.1 front turf tires for my 7080.  They look almost brand new, with wheels for $800 out the door.  I like the looks of the turf tires on the front versus the ribbed units.

Price was right, and I think they'll look good too. I was going to put turf tires on my 220, but changed to 4 rib when the Tire Dealer told me the turf would be damaged easier in my no-till corn stalks.

I took the diamond tread tires and wheels off the back of one of my parts 1440 combines. bolts right on and they look good too! now I guess they'll be for sale unless I put them on my 7010.

Actually Nampa Tractor Salvage has just been sold, I think around 1st of Feb this year.  Went there today and the front has been all cleaned up.  The new people were just as helpful, let me walk around and check out things.  Prices on that seemed reasonable.  A lot of yards won't let you in without an escort(and not the pretty kind of escort).

Man, like those wheels and tires. I'd like to have some for my 220 also. Where can you find rims that size and what's the width and offset? Sure look nice. Larry 👍

The wheels have an ink stamp on them of 7710 (part number?)and they are stamped 16.1x16.  Can't find a manufacture name on them.  I can find a lot of the smaller width for the 11.00x16 but I have never seen, well here anyway, these larger ones.  Figured I would pick them up while they were available.

I have 18.4 x 16.1 turf tires on the front of my 220. Gives it the correct attitude! Rims are from a salvage MF 2745 and are the same as the 7080. Motor wheel supplied a lot of rims back in the day.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

Couldn't stand it, had to put them on.  Ran into a slight problem, the center was slightly smaller than the hub, maybe 1/16".  I used the die grinder and enlarged it.  Possibly these are a metric version of the hub.  Could be like Shameless said from a combine or possibly a baler.

The 11.00 just look girly now.

Panels came from the junkyard earlier.  I'm still working on the dash inside.

We had a set on our 7080. They ride great and look awesome but don't turn worth a crap in worked ground. 7080 has dualed 20.8s on it with cast centers in all 4 wheels and just wanted to push the front end straight and not turn. They would be awesome in a hay field. BTW your 20 looks mean with um on.

How do they turn on the headlands/endows? Do they tend to slide sideways as you turn the wheel? I would think one would be on the breaks all the time. Still, I like the looks of them.
