Interesting 7060 coming up for auction on Purplewave May 20. maybe someone can post a link. It's in Geary Oklahoma. It says it's a 1975. It's obviously a maroon belly power director that has been painted black. One hood is from a black belly 7060 and the other is a maroon 7040 hood. It does have an intercooler and water filter, but that could have been added to a 7040. Looks like the precleaner has been removed for some reason. The console in the cab has been modified to remove the range lever and then they shortened up  the console. You can see the added on range lever sticking out of the floor board. It also looks to me like the intake manifold gasket is blown out in the picture of the engine serial number plate.

Judging by the engine model being a 3700 I'd guess that it really is a 7060. Of couse the whole engine could have been swapped into a 7040. Speed chart might give a hint.

the tractor serial number at the back would be stamped with the actual model number then the serial. I'm guessing they listed it as a 7060 because it may say 7060 there? They do list the serial number as 1558.
