Got a lead on a 7060. black belly, power director, 3 remotes. good paint, new cab kit. 20.8x38 tire with duals. Also 540/1000 PTO.

Anyone side dress corn with one? I pull a 11 row applicator with a 1000 gallon tank so I need the weight over the 190 XT. Worried about it turning sharp enough.

I know it should be able to pull my 30ft 1300 field cultivator, but would it be asking too much for it to pull a rolling basket behind it as well?

Side dressing corn with 20.8s will be a challenge,would be better with 18.4s. I assume you are pulling the 1300 in worked ground ? Around here, a 7080 would be hard pressed to pull a 30ft in fresh ground. And I would say you need another 50hp to pull the roller behind that.

Yes, it would be following a chisel or at least a disk. Tires are at about 40%-50% so might run them for a few years then go to 18.4s. Ill still have the 4520 deere to side dress with if all else fail, although A/C and a radio will be a nice improvement over that tractors factory cab

20.8 s would be very tight to sidedress with.

I agree with ILGleaner 30 ft cultivator would be a huge handful. We pulled a 24 foot with ours at that was about right maybe a small amount to spare but not much.

You will be fine turning with the applicator. Used a 7030 and 7045 on a six row planter for years and had no problems turning.

Pulled this cultivator for a bit with a warmed up 4520 with a intercooled 404 that weighed in at 18,000 lbs. shovels are pretty wore, but im putting new ones on this spring

anyone run 18.4x42s on one?

I agree with victory,24' prolly plenty, IIRC, DMI said 1 HP/ft for their rolling basket,,,so 24' might be plenty
20.8's are a challenge for 30" rows but can be done

 Mike all you need to do is get those stepup rims from Unerverth ???  I have a set that I went to 18.4 x 42s  from 20.8 38s.  320 a rim painted and ready to bolt to your casts. You  can find some decent 18.4 x 42s. I even have a pretty decent set I might sell if you go that route.  Is the tractor your looking at, at Rietzels. If so it looks nice and if the hours are right you dont find them like that everyday.

I side dress with our 7060 pulling a 9 knife...No problem turning...Def want 18_4s on it though...30 foot FC would be too much in worked dirt...Our 60 is set at 220 and a 24f with a crumbler was all she wanted in plowed ground

I might have to take you up on that. This one belongs to my moms cousin. about 7000 hours if I recall right. Got a new differential about 5 years ago and since then has only baled hay and pulled a manure spreader. He is the 2nd owner of it
