How do I get under the dash to replace the throttle cable? Side panel? Top panel? or cutting torch?... sarcasm

My first response would be cutting torch. But after doing it a few times you know what to do and becomes routine. From my experience, all the side panels have to come off. Then the two top panels. But maybe you can get to the cable without removing top. Unless someone has a better way....

Haven't done one in years.….both hoods come off......small top hood panel just ahead of the windshield.....next top panel on top of the dashboard.....maybe then the dash side and lower kick plate. It ain't fun.

As I recall, the cable attaches to the foot throttle portion. I think that all 7060s had a foot throttle? The lower, right hand panel needs to come out and then,I think, you can get at it. It's been a while since I've done one and it is kinda pesky.

I did one a couple years ago, and I don't remember getting into the dash, I think Lynn has the answer
