I've had these parts setting around a while and finally got chance to put them in. I replaced the cracked dash panel, all new decals. I also had all 6 of the warning light housings, I put leds in them and man are they bright!!
![]() Now everything else looks just sad, fuel gauge, steering wheel, UHHH. ![]() So I decided to fire it up and do some mowing. Well after about an hour the hyd filter light comes on, goes off then on again. Well I thought the sender wire had a bare spot possibly grounding, nope followed the whole wire looks great, thought the pressure sensor might be old. The filters, suction and return only had 420 hours on them. Well I had a set for the 7080 and decided to put them in. I used it for another 4 hours and perfect, no lights. Who would have thought the 40 year old system was doing exactly what it was supposed to.

regardless of the "other" parts, I think she looks beautiful in her new clothes!! Haven't seen a dash that nice in well, I think it was the early 80s.

The box I had these in had the receipt in it and was dated 2006. On the receipt 4 of the light housings were from agco and 2 were from other dealers stock. Not sure what would be out there now. Course the leds I just got off eBay.

Great dash! I love the LEDs. I do wish AC had installed more dash gauges ( eng oil press, air filter, boost, egt, Trans/hyd oil temp ) to name a few.. When I think about the thousands of hours these machines labored, having gauges to help monitor their fluctuations could be considered an essential? Of course that's easy for me to say today. With modern day GPS, operators can enjoy more time to view gauges. Forty years ago, operator's eyes were steering every moment. So, dash lights got attention quickly. AC manufactured great equipment with close budgets & all of these items cost. Hats off to AC for effectively providing the essentials.
