Hey everyone, I just bought a 7045 that needs a rebuilt motor. I’ve heard that 7060s are very similar. What are the main mechanical differences between the two? I don’t want to necessarily have the power set at 7060 levels, I just didn’t know if there were any parts from a 7060 that would benefit a 7045? I’ve heard that 7045s can run hot? Thanks

Tractor chassis is identical, as long as the same age for both. 7060 has an intercooler and a larger radiator and fuel setting for 160 HP.

7060 has an intercooler. Not sure if the fan is bigger or the radiator.

I suggest either sticking a good 7060 radiator in it, or have the one you have recored with an additional row. The recore option is what I did, and is equivalent to the 7060 radiator. You’ll have no problem with running hot like that as long as you have good foam and keep things clean once in a while.
