7045 PS: No gears except 1st.

Hey all,

Got a guy we sell combine parts to mention his 7045 was down.

Supposedly only pulls in 1st, He is certain no reverse, and "pretty sure" no other gears past 1st. (I thought I read some fail with just 1st and 6th usable?)

What failure is he looking at if 1st is truly the only gear he has?

Any info appreciated,

It is a complete teardown when one looses most of their speeds except for broken linkage inside. When linkage breaks, the shift lever will feel different.       MACK
