A Ford 8600 was sold locally in great shape (no cab) for $5000 which I thought was cheap.

Seems like the 8600 Fords make pretty good pulling tractors, anyone on here have one they pull with?

They are in demand around here for pullers, the 8000/9000/8600/9600 series are very capable tractors

I bought the 2600 disk. Paid $1900 for it, pretty good deal!! I plan on taking the disk gangs off my 2500 and putting them on it, 21'. I had new blades on my 2500 and broke the main frame in two. It broke where the frame has holes drilled through it to change gang angle, and cylinder has attachment to the frame. Newer models have different type of gang attachment. Had welded frame many times with plates and angle iron welded beside and on top of frame but they also broke at the hole! Frank, MI.
