Picking up a 7020 thats 4hrs away this week. Tractor Data shows 11700 to 17380lbs. This tractor has a full set of front weights, can anyone narrow down what the weight would be with empty tires? Does having a Maroon belly mean it is not a powershift?
Thanks Andrew

7020 or 40 ? Marron belly doesn't mean PS or PD. 7020s are only Blackbelly . 15,000 would cover either one.

Thanks ILGLEANER. Its a 7040 Maroon belly. I was thinking 14,000 like the deere 4240 i just hauled. I would hate to be 4hrs away and get surprised.

I just hauled a 7030 open station home a month ago from Kansas. It weighed 12,500. So add cab and front weights should get ya.   IG

Andrew if that is the one near Madras I bought the weights off of it 10 days ago. I would have bought the whole tractor if I had a bigger trailer....

Yeah it's that one darn was hoping the weights were there. Do you remember if it's a powershift or pd?

Well there were only 10 thin weights, so not a full rack....I didn't pay much attention to what kind of tranny was in it as I am not that familiar with them, sorry.

I think the last two years production of AC 7040 had Power Shift Trans option (1976-1977).
