I have a 7040 that pulled it out of shed this morning loaded feed wagon and it would not move again. It has been cold about 10deg this morning. Transmission oil pressure light is on at all rpms. Shift lever will freely go into all gears in both ranges with clutch pedal released. Both transmission and diff oil levels are good. I ordered a service manual but wondering if there could be something simple that I'm missing. Clutch spool sticking??? I don't know a whole lot about this transmission so kinda going in blind. Any advice would be appreciated.

If the 1800 light is on all the time, either it is very low on oil on the cab dipstick or I'd guess the transmission gerotor pump has failed or its screen is plugged.

Ok, thank you. The pump is the first in the stack (to the rear of the tractor) on the lower rh side of the machine? And the cover for the screen is on the bottom with 8 or 10 bolts?
