My 40 I assume has a factory seat and no arm rests. She runs the NH 313 discbine for a living now and I’d like to add armrests. Any links or Ideas for me to get pointed in the right direction? Can’t find a seat name but it’s in great condition.Thanks. Dana

Does your 7040 seat/arm rests look like the one on this tractor (which sold in 2020), but it gives readers an idea of what you are looking for? (photo 17) Edited by Leadoff - 05 Aug 2022 at 8:35am |

Leadoff, That looks like the same seat on your 185 on that 7040. I wonder if just the arm rests could be purchased?

It is indeed the same seat. The arm rests on my 185 are the original, from when it was shipped in 1975. The Dealer installed a Year-A-Round cab which really helped preserve the seat/arm rests. When I purchased the new seat assembly in 2013, Serco did not stock the arm rests, only the seat frame and both cushions. So, I do not have any leads for original new Milsco arm rests. However, if you are prepared to look into the used market, I have seen some decent ones ones on AC tractors, periodically on Marketbook etc and salvage Also, I have seen what looks like new, or very good used arm rests, on AC tractors for sale thru Mecum and Hager, where the tractors are fitted with a new Milsco Marathon seat. Where did those arm rests come from? Mikez purchased a new seat recently (great job BTW) and it looks to have great looking arm rests. Perhaps he could weigh in and comment on his post from August 2, 2022, the AC 100 Series seats thread started July 26, 2022 (where did you get the arm rests) Also, there are numerous after market tractor arm rests suppliers, that look very similar Good luck with your project

Ya I’ll try to post a pic of our 40’s seat. I’ve seen arm rest suppliers but not sure if they’d bolt to what we have. Thanks. Dana
