I may go look at this 7030, seller says pto stopped working so he checked pressure in the line, no pressure. He said he has changed all 3 pumps, still no pressure to pto. He says power steering and 3pt work but pto still slips under load. At this point he just wants it gone. Could this be something as simple as linkage or could the clutch plates be bad, stuck valve? Guy says the rest of the tractor is tip-top shape. I haven't actually seen it yet, just wondering what to look for if I do.ThanksLeon B Mo

Does the PTO lever stay fully forward in the engaged position ?? If he has no pressure at the clutch (like he says) the PTO will want to crawl but never pull a load. Sounds like a hydraulic oil supply issue. Might be a tube blown out of the PTO valve into the rear end housing ?? Not sure his story is accurate. Replaced all THREE pumps and the PTO still has no pressure??? Obviously he's throwing darts at a dart board hoping one will stick in the right place !!!

I don't know if the lever stays forward or not. I remember a topic on here about a bent bracket causing a pto problem but don't remember the circumstance. May have to go see for myself.
