Back in the spring I got a good deal on a 7020 black belly that had been sitting 10+ years. After a new starter solenoid and some injection pump cleaning I got it running and spent the summer pulling it in out of field classes. I’m hoping to pull it in our 10k “stock” class next year. Currently all I’ve done is back out the torque screw on the injection pump and slightly advance the timing. With that being said, here’s what I need help with:
Getting it down to 10k pounds Suggestions for more horsepower Other suggested modifications for pulling Class rules are pretty much 3k RPM, ag governor, motor has to match brand, and 10mph speed limit |
