the tractor has a high/low/ park position,  then a tee handle with 6 speed how does it shift?  this is a power shift?

was there also a need to replace the main or rod bolts on the engine because they loosen-up?

You have the power director, the only on the go shifting is the button I the floor you hit with your foot. Have a 7045 with same tranny and when taking off from park I take the park lever forward into neutral then go to the T handle and put it in the gear you want then go back to the other handle and put it in fast or slow range. I used to struggle shifting it but that sequence works for me everytime.

The "t" twists it does not move side to side. The arrows will point to the gear it will be in depending if you move the t handle forward or backward. It will only twist in the neutral position.

If it has 5000 hours, it needs new rod and main bearings.     MACK
