I have 500 hours on a overhaul on my 7020 and it’s seeping a little engine oil out the left around the head gasket. I didn’t retorque like I should have, but is it too late? Just lack of bolts on the outside edge of the pushrods?

The result will be 50%/50%. It will either work or it won't. Loosen each bolt maybe 1/4 turn first and then torque back up to 165 ft lbs.

Remove each head bolt one at a time, coat each bolt thread & top under the head with neverseeze, retorque bolts, check the torgue wrench for accuracy. GOOD LUCK

How'd it turn out? Did you re-torque or remove/never-seeze each bolt?

I just pulled it in the shop to do it. Resealing the steering cylinder and going to probably back them out a little and retorque the head. It is seeping right along the intake manifold, but I did put a new turbo on with the overhaul. The valve cover gasket is dry too. I’ve never had one leak before, but I did use a reliance gasket and I’m wondering if I should have used a agco even though agco doesn’t make it I’m sure. Does anyone use aluminum paint anymore?
