Does anyone know if the fan shroud from a 7000 cab tractor will fit a 7020 cab tractor ? My tractor is starting to get hot in the field. A few years ago the fan blade clipped the shroud when the water pump bearings failed and broke out a least the bottom third of the shroud. I have a 7000 and a 7060 parts tractor with good shrouds. Like to try the shroud before I rip the radiator out . Thanks, Eugene. |

A couple of years ago, the fan shroud on my F-150 broke on the bottom. I was able to repair it with some tin. If the other fan shroud will not work, you might try that.

I would say it would be worth a try, Both being the same engine I would say they would interchange, I doubt it would make a whole lot of difference though if it is still mostly intact.

One easy test would be to see if they share the same part numbers in the online AGCO parts manual. Hurst |

Where do you go to use the AGCO Parts Manual ? Do you have to register to use it ? I'd like to try the shroud before I go removing the radiator for nothing. The tractor is a highcrop 7020 and only has just a little over 1000 hours on the clock. I flushed the radiator last year and a lot of rusty rubbish came out.

Here's the link to ACGO'S parts book on line.
I just looked and they are not the same part no. That doesn't mean that it will not fit, Just not the same #
Back when I worked on the 7020's they needed to have all the foam around the radiator or they might over heat. I'm with "Miles" on just making a part of the shroud if the parts 7000 shroud will not work. You might try blowing the rad out from the back side too.
