I loved my 7030, but it did have one little annoying problem. When I was trying to turn in a tight space at low rpms (backing something carefully into a shed), it was difficult to steer. I'd have to push the clutch in and fight the wheel, or bump up the rpms. I know a lot of older tractors do this.
Was this corrected in the 8000 series? Thanks, George

sounds like one of several possibilities, worn pump, low fluid, plugged filter, contaminated fluid, sticky valve
