Guys I need to build a monitor mount for the cab of my 7010. Just for the round baler monitor now but id like some flexibility.
So pics, suggestions, location, pitfalls, power source any input would be helpful.

well, instead of building why dont you bought a monitor mount arm from Flexispot coupon code? They have good quality monitor mount arms which easily mounted and adjusted with any type of monitor. also they are not expensive you can buy it an affordable price.

Mount it right on top of the dashboard. It will not interfere with your vision as much, because when you look over the top of your monitor, you will still see the tractor hood out in front of you.

We made a mount off the front right cab corner for planter. Used to have the sprayer controller off the right b pillar until we switched sprayers and installed it to the 8050

Well what I did was cut the bottom off the open station axle mount that came with the monitor drilled a couple holes and used the existing bolts on the back side of the control tower.

I’ve got quite a bit going on in here, but might give you some ideas.

Nice. Being able to adapt technology like mapping and gps speed to these old tractors really interests me. The monitor I'm using is a simple beep and tie round baler unit. The location off the control tower means I can swivel the seat, drop the PS to neutral(if I want),tie, open the gate, back into gear, leave the bale and close the gate with right hand only.
I due plan on seeding some new alfalfa stands this year so application rate, speed and location monitoring tech is on the plate. I'm thinking the apps for and android based device is out there.
