I just bought a very early model 7060. It has the plastic/fiberglass cab top that needs work. Are the metal tops exactly the same?

I think so but, don't the fiberglass ones have places for the flashers in whereas the metal ones don't?

Your right. Mine does but...my plan is to put a half cab on it so I may have to mount my own lights.

I put a metal roof on my 7050 I had. You just need to cut a hole with a hole saw where the later tractors had the lights and move the lenses down to the cab. It wasn't too bad to do at all.

I just got an old AC ad booklet in the mail today. Maroon belly tractors. It shows the lights both ways?

The last year of the maroon belly tractors (1977) used the metal roof.

My 7060 came with a metal roof s/n 3088 should be mid 76.
