Can anyone tell me how these pieces go around the radiator? I have a couple that I am pretty confident about, but I don't want to glue anything until I know for sure.
Thanks, Hurst |

Hurst, I have done these on our tractors. #2 goes on the sides of the radiator, #3 I think goes on the front bottom of the radiator,#1 goes over the top of the radiator,#7 goes on the front bottom to seal the side hoods,#4 goes around the air intake tube, but I have never really got that one to fit very good. Good luck! Is that an AGCO kit or is their an aftermarket? AGCO ones are kinda pricey.

This is the kit from HyCapacity. It was about $70 vs $100 for the AGCO kit. I'll have to give the jigsaw puzzle a shot again tomorrow :)

I was just looking at it again after Orangie's advice, and here is what I have figured out:
1 seems like it should go on the top, but fits a little weird. 2 goes on the side of the radiator 3 I am still trying to figure it out. I have the hydraulic cooler lines coming up from under the radiator, so I think that is where one of the 6's goes? But maybe not? 4 Over the air pipe 5 Have no clue, they are pretty good size blocks, about 4x4x6 6 I think one of these goes on the bottom of the radiator? The slits line up with the hydraulic lines 7 I am not 100% sure, but the drawing that came with the foam kit does say "foam here" pointing up near the cab where the thin part of the side panels go? If not there, they are the perfect length to fit between the two bolts where the radiator mounts to the rubber isolators (They are only about 3/8" thick, which is kind of hard to tell from the picture) 8 are the two bottom strips that run along the edge under the air filter Hurst |

Hurst, I stand corrected on those thin strips, I think you are supposed to squeeze them in between the radiator and radiator support brackets!

Hurst, I didn't slide your picture over to see #8 but I think that is what goes in the front bottom of the radiator, and #1 & #3 just use which ever one fits the best on the top of the radiator for your 7000, which one you don't use is extra.

made my own on the last replacement on my 7010. just hafta remember..the air needs to go thru the radiator, not around it! used just regular ole foam rubber outta a couch cushion, cuts real easy with an electric knife!

Ok, it makes more sense if there are extra pieces in the kit. I was wondering that because it seems like a little too much foam for what little voids there are around the radiator

If AGCO was $100 then they have come down. I believe a few years ago they were at about $140 when I checked last. I saw the aftermarket ones just recently.

I did the foam in our 7010 this past week, but went to Wal Mart and got the 2x2 window air conditioner foam in strips. Isn't the same quality of foam, but was less than $10 for enough foam. Had to get a tube of 3-m glue also.

This is an old post, but a good one, since I too am trying to put this puzzle together. Anyone ever figure where the #5 blocks go? Thanks, Roscoe.

#5....I think go up inside up under the console. above where the clutch cable goes. hafta take the bottom steel plate off above the pedals to put them in there. it's a sound deffening thing.

Front lower corners of grill like Lynn said. I put regular egg crate foam and insulation up around and under the console. But something like #5 was in there where Shameless said originally.
