I have a Black Belly 7000. When I turn the steering wheel the relief valve squeals but the wheels turn as they should. Also if raising the three point and turning the wheels at the same time the three point will stop lifting. Any ideas?

the flow divider is stuck in the rear of the hyd pump. 70260910 - goto agcopartsbook.com and look it up.. Remove and clean - note how it is oriented for reinstallation.

Steering relief valve may also need set up. A little normal on a 7000, they needed a bigger steering cylinder. MACK

I had one black 7000 that had a hard effort steering situation and a squealing relief valve too. This also would apply to a maroon 7000 as well. We started with the obvious and jacked up the front wheels and greased the spindles liberally. Even with the front wheels off the ground, the steering effort was high and the relief was squealing when steering it. Flow divider/priority valve spool wasn't stick or plugged. In the end, the problem was something I'd never seen before or ever again. We took the orbitrol apart and found several of the center spool holes PLUGGED with pieces of white Teflon seal bits. Our theory was the Customer had a bad cylinder on an implement the Spring before and the pieces made their way thru the return circuit (unfiltered)into and thru the pump and finally got stuck in the orbitrol. Whodda thunk that would ever happen ??

Update to what I found. I removed the plug on the priority valve and found parts of the sealing ring from behind the wear plates in the spring. I removed the pump and disassembled it finding a hole in one of the wear plates. I also removed the relief valve and the poppet is pitted on the sealing surface. Are these poppets available? What else should I look for.
