    Posted: 30 Jul 2017 at 10:12pm
Hello,
Could someone please tell me the bolt size/length that attaches the balance spring linkage to the final drive housing?  I am going to attempt to attach the mower to my CA for the first time tomorrow.  Should be a learning experience.
Thanks very much

Yes, I have those operating instructions and the dealer parts catalog which shows the blow-up diagrams of the parts but it does not mention the actual bolt sizes.  It does give a part number of 913065 (bolt) but I don't have that cross reference.  Maybe someone else does?

Bob, you're probably going to have to buy a 4" bolt and cut off a 1/4".  I've had to do that often with these old machines.  Back then things were simple and everything came in 1/4" increments.  Now it's 1/2"......  Also back then though was that the bolts were 13/16" and the nuts were 3/4"  Go figure.....
