At 72 degree's today, ya know I had ta' take some time out and install the engine into the 620! A week before Christmas, and its 72 degrees in Northern New Joisey. Totally unheard of! Couple pics of the install. Got some of the wiring hooked up to...

I know that it is the original engine but it looks as clean and bright as the new engine I just put it.  That is nice. I see the loader frame is under there...you need to keep that warm weather if you plan on pushing snow with your 620. LOL  Den

Den,
I hope the weather stays around like this till May!! LOL! Supposed to be high 50's this week and next. That'll get December out of the way. January and February are our two nastiest months for the weather. Did ya git' a chance to try out that new Briggs? Any issues with the install?

Man that looks great.  I'm torn between you and den, whether to keep holding out and try and find a cckb with the front PTO clutch or go with the new briggs!

I got two weeks worth of time in cleaning that engine. What a slimy, greasy mess that thing was! Grease, grass, grime, dirt, bugs, you name it, it was caked in there. Pulled everything off including the cylinder heads to clean it up. Had to poke a thin screwdriver between the fins, then work a putty knife in them fins to get the rest of the dirt and crap out. Then pressure washed them and the engine twice. A few cans of Brakekleen to get the residue out, followed by a lot of compressed air and some drying time. Talk about work! Sheesh! A can of Ford Grey engine enamel and it was sanitary enough to work on again. LOL! Thanks guys for the nice comments!
