I edited my post to show the size on my tiller, but figured I should post separately as well.
Size is 48 1/2 inches long by 9 inches wide. A lighter chain is welded near rear center that will reach the little hook on the gearbox to adjust how far down you wish to hang the drag plate. Merle |

the ones I've seen are flat with a angle on end , I believe to keep from digging in when you back up. At least that will be the way I build mine.
Merle do you have pictures?

No pictures, but mine is probably a re-made plate, as the hinges are the regular gate hinges. It is completely flat, but I don't know how much difference a bend up would make because in my sandy soil, the tiller completely pulverizes the soil, and the plate just drags it smooth.
An upward bend on the rear edge may make a difference in different types of soil.

The one I looked at had a tube full length and rod for hinge
and about a 45* angle on edge
