Ok guys, I haven't posted much about this but I am headed down the same road that Jacob Swanson is going down.  A few months ago we discovered we need some gears made for our  steering gear boxes. I have found a gear shop that can make them. At this point between Jacob, Norm Meinert and myself we need 2 worm gears, 4 driven gears and 2 spur gears.

The big question, does anyone else need gears. I am having a short production run of each done and I have a few months to add to the order.

I think I should wrap up the total in 4 weeks in order to give the gear shop the total plenty of time.

reply or  send me a PM if you are interested.

The universal answer to all questions is yes, how much do you want to spend?

It's all kind of funny, I knew I had a lot of challenges ahead of me with my 6-12 restoration, but I never would have guessed it would be so hard to find a machine shop that could cut our steering box gears.  They are an obscure gear, not like anything "standard" today.  Good work finding this place Dave!

Hopefully other 6-12 owners will see this.  Seems this is a commonly worn part on these tractors.
