Well it looks like I sold my Green tractor, decided to try to get the air conditioning working on the 6080 and try using it for brush hogging. The cold air knob clicks when I turn it on, but the compressor doesn't kick in. Does it do this when it needs Freon? Also the blower does not work on the highest setting. What would cause this? Any help or info would be appreciated.

Also could someone explain to me what the sealing gasket for the cab top should look like?
Is it still available? Someone just caulked this one on and it has leaked since I got the tractor.

Gasket is still available from agco (reasonably priced too).  It also comes with rubber grommets for each bolt.  Stick the gasket to the top of the cab, then set the lid on top of it.
Can't help too much on your AC issues.  From what I remember reading in the manual, the AC clutched needs to be burnished occasionally.  If not it could prevent the compressor from kicking in.

The click you hear in the switch is it sending power to the clutch. You hear a click when it gets cool and kicks off. Most likely it is low enough on freon that the low pressure switch won't send power to the clutch.

Either one of two things needs to be done. Put a set of gauges on it and add freon and the ac starts cooling. Or the dryer came apart plugging the expansion valve and won't work. If you get a set of cheap gauges and a bottle of freon I would be happy to walk you through the process. It's really simple once you know what's going on.

Agco parts books shows a low pressure cut out switch on the receiver-drier, in front of the radiator. If you have a test light you can see if the compressor is getting power. If not follow the wire back to the low pressure switch and see if there is power there. Your fan switch could be bad not allowing hi speed fan.

ifn ya don't have a pricey unit to heat and force the refridgerant in,you will need to jump the plug for press switch to make compressor run and draw in gas.

Thanks guys, I think I will try to find a local guy to look at it. The radiator in the cab roof looks pretty rough, I think it probably needs to be tested for leaks first off. I cleaned up the top of the cab, it isn't too bad, but the lid is really pitted. I called the local AC dealer and he said the gasket was available and around $25. I thought the coolant valve cable was stuck but I see it is ok, just not adjusted right. Hopefully I can get this thing cooling, it has been hot out here!

Yea eldon that cab without AC is bad. Can't open enough windows. Mine was not working this spring and it was the high pressure switch right there on the compresser. My neighbor does my AC for me. He made a little jumper for the wire. All it is is a ground. And got me by until I got the new switch. You can take a jumper wire to atlest see if the compressor functions. I also had trouble with the main cab plug down under lower dash. Had to put zip tie around to help hold it together.

I had to add a can to mine this spring. I have an 8 foot flail mower on mine right now and it's going to get a workout today if everything goes right.
