None of lights (alternator, turn signals, eng. oil. pressure, hand brake, brake oil level, PTO disengaged, air filter) work on the Circuit Board Assembly. Before I try to track down this part #0258677-4 in hopes that this fixes the problem, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this problem and any luck fixing it. Thanks in advance. Carl

Well, there's 6 or 8 light bulbs behind that face screen. Maybe your bulbs are burned out.

sounds like you may not have current or a ground to board. Usually when one goes bad, it is one light. MACk

Thanks for your reply. Right up front, wiring/ electrical is not my strong suit. Looking at the wiring diagram it does not appear that the assembly has a separate fuse. Both the tach/hour meter and the fuel/water temp gauges work. It does show a diode behind the dash that may have failed. Attached to the wiring harness connector that goes into the circuit board assembly there is a wire called "TERMINAL, P.C. connector (to replace broken terminals in the panel-to-harness circuit board connector)". I take it from that they anticipate that something may need to be replaced someday! Thanks again - carl

Thanks Doc, it did not occur to me that it might be that simple since none of them work but you may be right. As you can probably tell wiring/ electrical is not my
strong suit. I'll have buy a box of bulbs. Both the tach/hour meter and the
fuel/water temp gauges work. It does show a diode behind the dash that
may have failed. Attached to the wiring harness connector that goes into
the circuit board assembly there is a wire called "TERMINAL, P.C.
connector (to replace broken terminals in the panel-to-harness circuit
board connector)". That tells me that the engineers anticipated some sort of failure sooner or later. thanks again - carl

This is the wiring diagram I have. You can copy it to your computer and blow it up better. It shows it gets power from the fuel/temp gauge so if that is working check to see if the red wire is in good shape from there to the connector on the board. I use a simple test light to check these. Looks like the ground for it goes over to the fuel/temp also. When you take the top panel off of the dash it is fairly easy access.
Do the easy stuff first like bulbs/connections, good recommendations here.

Thanks for all the good information. It downloaded and printed just fine. I'm looking forward to working on it. My current project is transferring a 460 loader from a 6080 to my 6060. Then I am going to sell the 6080. This area in SW Coastal Oregon is not big Allis Chalmers country so we will see how long it takes. Again I really appreciate all the time you took to share this information. carl
