Has anyone ever put 6.00x16s on a narrow front WD or 45? 5.50s are standard and 6.50s are too big. I want to put a new pair of Firestones on my 45 but they don't make a 5.50 anymore. The 6.50s 'fit' but don't look right, maybe 6.00s would look ok? Anyone have some pics?

There have been thousands of 6:00's on WC's, and WD's, and I would almost bet that you never noticed the difference!
You don't really have to be smart if you know who is!

I haven't studied that close but the one I have that had 6.50s on it didn't look right at all. 5.50s look good. I'll have to start looking at the tires on other peoples stuff a little closer. Rear tires jump right out at you, fronts not so much.

I know I called Mike's C & O Tire in Charles City, IA a few weeks back looking for tires for our diesel. They did offer 5.50X16s in a firestone brand. I know they were at least $50 more a tire but they were available. If interested, give them a call. Hope this helps. Phone: (641) 228-6741.

Here is a picture of 5.50 on right and 6.00 on left, on a WD. I moved the 6.00's to the D17. Was a better fit for both in my opinion.
Regards,
 Chris

Thanks for the ideas guys, and the pic Chris. As much stuff as I buy on E-Bay I don't know why I didn't think of that. The 5.50s definitely look better, more correct to me. Took a pair of 6.50s off one of my NF WDS and put them on the wide front, they look pretty good there. If I ever get time to do the 6 bolt hub project it will get 7.5lx15s.
