 Topic: 55' WD45 Power Steering Leak..?

Hey fellas. I have a pretty decently sized power steering leak going on with my 1955 WD45. Been working at trying to get the steering column apart. Seems to be coming out heavily where the steering shaft goes in. Would appreciate a little info on repairing this thing and what to look for when I get it apart. Thanks!

Drive rolls pins out of couplers and remove hoses, remove unit. Use fowl bolts to keep sections in line. Remove caps and replace orings. MACK

Looks like someone has stuck wires through the roll pins, to serve as retainers. IIRR, technically these should be spring pins, and wouldn't need the wires, then. What's a fowl bolt, Mack? Figger its a typo, and tried to reason it out, but can't come up with anything...

So the screws are 1/4" low profile 12 point. I shaved around the tip of one of my sockets with a flap disc and now fits perfectly. Went through changing the o-rings, started it up and went to steering it back and forth. Started leaking again at the steering wheel input. The o-ring I used at the shaft is exactly the same size as the one that came out. Should I try thicker rings? Found this Eaton manual at the link below. I'll go through taking the cap off again and make sure everything is put back per manual specs. Thanks!

I purchased an SK122 seal kit and picked it up from Midwest Directional in Independence, MO. No more leak.
